Savvy Security runs scheduled and random patrols in Auckland and Hamilton, covering warehouses, retail premises, construction sites and corporate properties that sit empty after hours. Alarm callouts are handled by the same on-duty crew, which keeps response times tight and avoids the gap between detection and response that catches a lot of operators out.

How often will a mobile patrol visit my site?
Patrol frequency is set to your risk profile. Two to four visits per night is common for warehouses and retail premises. Construction sites with active high-value materials may need more frequent passes. Random patrol timing is built into every route so a watcher cannot predict the gap between visits.
How does mobile alarm response work in Auckland?
Crews are dispatched directly from active patrol routes across the Albany to Pukekohe and Howick to Helensville footprint, rather than starting from a remote base. The same dispatch model applies for mobile patrol callouts and welfare checks triggered by alarm activation. Specific response expectations are agreed at contract on a per-site basis.
What does a mobile patrol report look like?
Every visit produces a timestamped report with the time on site, the patrol route covered, any issues observed, and photos where requested or where an incident is noted. Reports go to a nominated contact and are kept on file for the duration of the contract.
Do you run mobile patrol outside Auckland?
Yes. Alongside Auckland, we run a branded patrol vehicle in Hamilton with capacity to expand as work comes through. Wellington and Christchurch are planned as confirmed client demand grows. Response times are confirmed at booking.
Do you offer lock-up and unlock services?
Yes. Lock-up and unlock cover is part of the standard mobile patrol offer. We are the first and last person on site for premises that have no fixed manager on duty, with the building secured, alarms armed, and a confirmation report filed.
How do I know a patrol actually happened?
Every visit is GPS-verified. The patrol vehicle logs arrival and departure at each site, the route walked is recorded, and the report on file shows the timestamps. Useful if an insurer ever asks for proof that an after-hours check was actually performed.
